    ... the park. Strange to think that when we were tacking we were heading straight for Venice. On the Adriatic Sea side of the park there are cliffs jutting straight up from the sea. On Mana Island an old fort or castle sits atop the cliff side. Don't know the history but I've heard this whole Area was ruled by Venice at one time.     After a goodnight's sleep Kerst feels much better and we have a hot breakfast before boarding the bus at 8.30. We head to Krka National Park which is stunning. Krka is a river and lake area with abundant bird life, scenic waterfalls and lush forests. We walk for an hour and take in the beautiful,scenery, the waterfalls are amazing!     We found our hostel easily enough and also a car park, which in reality our bigger concern. Again our hostel was in a fantastic location (gee I wonder who made all the bookings J ) and was a really cute, small family run property.
