Stage one of our journey...arrived at Bristol bus station (an hour early). Having a coffee and a blueberry muffin to keep us going until we get to the airport. I found one of Tilly's cat hairs on my trousers and felt a bit emotional and homesick already. Apparently ...

It was like every parent bought their child a noisemaker and then there were competitions to see which child could make the most noise....at first it was like ok stop but you soon learn to embrace it and love it. Although I think Haley would've hurt me if I bought one so I stayed away.... We got our faces painted with the flag ...

... so glad to get off my feet. And everyone brings their own glasses back into the restaurant/bar when they're done. How lovely!!

We attempted to eat at Los Iguanas because the Mexican menu looked heavenly and we could get a table looking out at the water, but there was a waiting time of an hour, so instead, we ended up at Eli Jenkins pub and the food was absolutely delicious. I will succumb to the trend and start ...
