The highlight of the day would have to be the herd of about 40 goats that crossed the road in front of us. Every goat had a large bell around its neck and the music from these bells was amazing. Mr Melanes pointed out points of interest on our way. Naxos is well known for its potatoes as well as cheeses. There ...

It seems so much easier to meet people on the road than in Vancouver. I still don't quite understand what it is about VanCity that makes people keep their distance. Robert hesitated awkwardly before inviting the Dutch to dinner. It was so nice to plan a spontaneous get-together, not having to provide two weeks' notice to ensure there are no schedule conflicts. Another benefit of travel.

... s lunch. The plan is to then head back to the coast to Plaka which is a lovely beach for swimming, sunbathing and to try out the new wooden bat and ball set J has just picked up. The beaches are packed with sun beds and umbrellas, but its not hard to find a quiet patch to ourselves. Sun bathing brings on hunger and thirst, there is a myriad of cafes on the beach so we choose Mexican for sangrias and nachos. A quick squirt on the quads home, ...
