    Said our farewells to everyone this morning and then we set out for the old Olympic stadium. On the way there we witnessed the changing of soldiers at their post which was kinda cool. We never did figure out what building they were guarding but I'll have to look that up. I forgot my student card for the Olympic stadium, and didn't wanna ...

    Three days on this little agricultural island, finally free of tourists clicking and angrily brandishing their selfie-sticks, are barely enough. Our training regime, for our Hadrian's Wall walk, moved into top gear, as we completed several strenuous but totally enjoyable days.

    ... via the gangplank.
    Then suddenly the trucks stopped and the gates opened and foot passengers were swarming onto the ferry via the vehicle gangplanks.
    I'm sure that this saved about 20 minutes of time. However suddenly there was an ear piercing siren as the gangplanks lifted and we were off to sea with lots of people still in the car bays.

    ... the only passengers from Apollon.
    Managed a cold draught pint in Lotto. Purchased our ferry tickets for Syros and the last leg to Kos.

    Got the bus back to Prokopios and spent a little more time on the beach. Had to rescue Antonis`s boat as young lad from Fotis taverna had pushed it in!

    We had a butty on the balcony and then forced a cake down my neck at the Golden Beach cafe.
