... it was a 40 minute ride into the city. We were headed for the Koala Sanctuary called Lone Pine. We had to go through the whole city to get there so that took approximately 1 and 1/4 hours. The sanctuary was very nice. All of the animals are in open areas that you enter except for those that bite which are behind glass. They have many koalas there that are separated by age and sex. I got to hold one and have my photo taken. ...

... ago from Virgin Australia with the chance to bid for an upgrade to Premium Economy, bids start at $400 and you can bid up to $1050, which is the difference between economy and Premium. We bid $435 per seat and had our bid approved so our flights return cost us $1535 with one leg in Premium..... Pretty good deal I think!!

H and T arrived about 8, we had to wait for them to line up with all the other poor economy passengers, took forever ...

... route 66 museum and hoover dam. Scenery amazing. Lake mead reminds us of queenstown in tassie , all mountains , no vegetation, but just spectacluar.so far all the americans are so friendly and want to help.Baz had 2 hours sleep today but we are good tonight .amazing what a few wild turkeys can do.
