let off, but decided to help Sandy out behind her back. Nora had fed
out Charlie and said he had no branches in one pot and that his food

went to the market (yay, Wednesdays!).

I picked up some strawberries and
avocados (It is the end of the season for them), then bikes slowly
home. My wrist was pulled this morning ...

... Daniel and gave me his business card, telling us about the
locals bar and special Monday deal at the bar/gyoza restaurant.

Daniel and I sat and talked about
Guanacaste and national parks and going out as a volunteer group that
Friday. I started to scheme and got quite excited! At 16.00 Daniel
caught his bus and I hopped on my bike after changing. I took another
way home and briefly got diverted onto a few new roads. It was fun
exploring and I made it to Kenmore at .45.

Island Hopping

A travel blog entry by james.arnold on Aug 22, 2015

... We all sat on benches around in a circle and the zoo keeper lady brought out a koala from one of the enclosures to a collective "aww". It was hanging off her shoulders, looking half asleep. Poor thing – apparently they sleep 22 hours a day, so we must have woken it to have our stupid photo opportunity. One by one we went up to hold the koala (which smelt a bit of b.o., by the way) and had our photos taken. We then handed them back to the zoo keeper and stroked his head as we ...
