... I watched people swimming effortlessly in the many ocean pools along a coastal walk that we took last week, we both wished that we had grown up in a place where everyone is at a minimum a competent swimmer. It would make being near so much water more fun (not that we can't swim, but it's work).
- And finally, I've learned that even I eventually tire of photos of the kids at the beach, at the pool, and at the playground..so a break from those this time.

... as I'm heading to Asia next. On the way back to the hostel we popped in a couple of shops and then got some food. Every Saturday at Darling Harbour in Sydney there's fireworks so we decided we might as well have a walk up. Cafe Sydney - Nina booked a table for the 4 of us to eat here about a month before we arrived, so we had a great spot on the front of the balcony looking over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. ... because we've been here before, but because the buildings are so iconic. A huge cruise ship sits in the harbour. We've seen a lot of cruise ships lately, this one couldn't be parked more centrally, being between the bridge and the city. I guess this is part of the reason it's so busy today.
