... I watched people swimming effortlessly in the many ocean pools along a coastal walk that we took last week, we both wished that we had grown up in a place where everyone is at a minimum a competent swimmer. It would make being near so much water more fun (not that we can't swim, but it's work).

We've seen a lot of cruise ships lately, this one couldn't be parked more centrally, being between the bridge and the city. I guess this is part of the reason it's so busy today.
