Cindy, Carl, Jane, Buddy, Larry and I went to a restaurant recommended by Lucciano. Ristorante Beppe Achilli was great! It was obviously a favorite with the locals. They had great fresh seafood specialties and yummy wines! Larry tipped the waiter quite well, and they gave us gifts of olive oil and 3 bottles of wine!! ...

Apart from the fact, the engine didn’t make a noise, there was no other noise around. There was plenty of boats out, but most of then were just cruising along at a gentle speed like we were. The rocks around the coast line that were still in the sun, were dotted with people. How they get down to some of these locations I just don't know.

After buying tortolini and ragu sauce to cook up at home, we are now packing for Milan. We leave early in the morning. ...

... it was trek day. We got the train to Corniglia for the walk between here and Monterosso via Vernazza. The girls did the walk up to Vernazza and then Josh, Joel and I did the last leg. Supposed to take 3.5 hours for our whole trek. Pumped it out in 1.45! We absolutely missioned between Vernazza and Monterosso, got the big lanky legs pumping. Spent the next couple of hours chilling out on the beach at Monterosso and had a few quieter beers on the beach ...
