Not a lot happened today. Mum is limited a lot by her broken arm has given up on any of the tour activities. We go on short walks along the esplanade but that is about the limit of our activity. There is a very pleasant garden area at the side of the Hotel with great views across the bay We sit out there beside the pool enjoy a cup of tea and a beer and watch the world go by.

... all their time running backwards and forwards in the middle of the nights, dropping off and picking up my kids from the airport. Another 1am pickup this morning, another next week and then another in 2 weeks after that. Thank you a million times over. You are amazing and very much loved by all of us.

Oh dear. I think I may be homesick....

Must be time to shake that feeling off and go and have a prosecco !!!

    Well, we loved it. It
is a real surfing spot. Not quite
like ours but as close as we’re going to get I suspect. Very casual, lots of young people and
lots of bars and cafes. We swam,
shopped, lay on the beach, (not too rocky actually) and decided to stay for
dinner. We had apparatives at ...

... to treat ourselves, and have dinner out. Pizza and a small bottle of local red. The waiter couldn’t understand that we were sharing a pizza as everyone, even the young kids, have a pizza to themselves. The pizza’s are much larger than our family size ones and they are not cut into triangles, but served with a knife and fork. It really was delicious, but again, it was watching ...
