We saw white storks, villages of terracotta tiled roofs, a tractor with such incredibly large wheels a Mini could have driven beneath the chassis, a shepherd with goats and sheep by the roadside, a group of two or three women in a layby (F said were 'women of the day', there to pick up Turkish truckers) and lots of nests, mistletoe or both in the trees. ...

... asked for a fan and the front desk girl said they do not supply them. But then a few minutes later, a fan was brought to our room. She had friend bring hers from home for us, very attentive.

I was bushed and took a 2 hour nap. We had lunch in our rooms, salami, ripe red tomatoes and bread.

We walked over to the Provit supermarket and bought a few supplies. It is a good store but, sadly, has no deli.
