Bar-B-Q at Balaton
... to the birthday party upon arrival at the lake last Saturday, and despite the fact that most of the activities were in Hungarian we still had fun. ... This evening, we went down to Balatonfured to take in a wine festival filled with wine, beer, and food. We tried some sugared bread, and also a slice of what Thomas told us was Onion Bread. It was actually bread with lard and onions on it. I had a bit of a shock when I learned it was lard because it was dark out and it looked like cheese to me, but I ate it all and it was pretty good! I don't think I'll have another one anytime soon though.

This morning we went to the Metro Supermarket in Gyor to pick up a few things we would need for our stay in Budapest.
