... be puke free without them.

    Friday 16 May
Disembarked at Marina Zea with a taxi pick up arranged by Dietmar at 8.10am to take me to Hotel Arion to drop off my bag an then to the Acropolis. Much nicer experience than my last taxi ride in Athens. This driver sang to the radio and laughed as leaned out the window to tuck in wing mirrors of his taxi and on parked cars, so he could fit down the narrow street to drop me right at the door of ...

... it feels great to be relaxing on a beautiful beach again. The water was cool but the sun was scorching so it worked out nicely. After our long day we retired to our cave and to bed, but come midnight, all hell broke loose with more bells and clapping and cheering as the restaurants opened and the party began. The music, including many disco numbers from the 80's rang out through the night, infiltrating even the foot thick walls of our cave. Needless to say that Sunday morning dawned a little quieter than ...

... soon. That said, what made Greece a blast was the same thing that makes any trip fun: Great company, decent food, friendly locals, and the time to enjoy all three. Next, we head north to Turkey and the coastal city of Fethiye as we make our way through our last country before heading back home. We have high hopes but will be cautious with our expectations. Until then…
