          ... the sea and was actually really quite amazingly Greek ! The family that ran the place had a friendly reputation to uphold and were pretty much ready to do anything for you... Looking a little tired 'hugs all around' ... Looking like you need an adventure 'hugs all around and we'll drive you into town' ... In need of coffee ... 'a free freshly brewed coffee and a big hug' So now having started the holiday part ...

          ... was sandblasting us with volcanic pumice stones to the point where we ducked behind a hill taking an alternate trail. Just as we arrived at the first little settlement on the walk back the wind reached hurricane strength blowing over parked motorcycles, breaking branches and blowing all of the stuff in the shops all over the streets.           ... the sea level. If you go to the old port, you can go by foot, by cable car, or by the traditional donkey. We went up by bus from the new port. There are 10 switchbacks along the route to the top and the buses just get by each other on the roads, reminding us of the Amalfi coast. But once you get to the top, you can see the other side of the island, the Eastern side where the land runs down into the sea, with grape vines coiled up along the ground to retain ...

          ... who can hold their breath the longest...pretty sure I won!! Although Rhett would say differently...!! Had dinner where we again had spectacular views and watched the sunset (I don't think you could find a place here that doesn't have views if you tried!). We are both loving it here in Santorini and never want to leave - so if we aren't back on Saturday you know where we are!!! xoxo ...

          ... Kong and I told them that if they give me their email address I will send them some photos I took. They were happy about that and I was very happy to offer. That is just me!!! They congratulated us as it was our 10th wedding anniversary on their wedding day. We share the same day!! :-)

          Back to our room we had champagne in the jacuzzi, a nice way to end the night. Troy popped the bottle and god knows where the cork went as it went ...
