... the sprawling conurbation. We paid the £6 extra to go up the tower, the view was even better and we were warm! The windows needed a blooming good scrub so the photo taking wasn't too great. I didn't realise how massive Seoul as a city was, there were buildings everywhere with clusters of sky scrapers all 360deg around the tower. Hangang River with it's many busy bridges could be seen and sections of the city wall. It was another view I could have sat ...

... on early as we used up the only floor level suitcase bins. Everything else was by our feet or up on the overhead rack. Overall, I would say this journey was better than our Eurostar trip to Paris in 2012. I couldn't help wondering how much cheaper travelling standard class would have been. We've played two games so far, one against NongDa, the 'rugby universtiy' of China, and the ...

... the Chinese New Year to go back to their homes and rural communities for the week holiday. The city therefore isn't as packed (its still crazy full) and also the wind is very strong as of late, reducing the pollution in the air! I have an app on my phone that measures the air pollution levels!

My final adjustment is the toilets here. Toilets are at ground level and toilet paper is very sought after and not flushed.

Not a great start to the day.. We didn't get a good sleep last night.. I kept hearing mosquito's buzz past my ear and Leigh kept getting bitten!! Clearly they don't like the taste of my blood coz I have about 3bites to Leigh's 12! There was also some really inconsiderate people in the hostel shouting and singing VERY LOUDLY but I guess this is to be expected and we've got to get used to it, although we probably could have dealt better with that if it ...
