Each day in Beijing thus far has been significantly different from the day before. It feels like we’re receiving a healthy spread of cultural and traditional education as well as industry knowledge. It is all at once exciting and daunting at how much there is to learn and understand! Today's morning visit was with a local car rental company called eHi. (customs is a different story, they are always rifling through people stuff) So needless to say, it took well over an hour just to make it through the immigration line, just for him to scan our passports and say "Welcome home." And that right there, made the whole wait worth it, we had a great trip, but it is nice to be home!

... walk-through metal detectors and bag x-ray machines. Police checkpoints can be found at fairly regular interviews along all the footpaths leading towards the square and the police stop locals for random ID checks using what seems to be a pretty sophisticated handheld ID scanner. There certainly won't be any more tanks blocked in this particular square! (although any local will tell you that no such thing ever ...
