... jump in and we would feel the rocks underneath our feet - WRONG. You let go and you were directly underneath the waterfall so the water pushed you down and under the water spitting you out of the small gap between the rocks into the pool at the bottom, so you were under water for around 4-5 seconds! It was an awesome abseil but dead scary when you came to the last bit of your rope and had to fall into the water! We have had such a great day!! It's been ...

Dalat sits about 5000 feet above seal level and is very popular with local tourists and Russians due to the cool consistent climate around high teens to mid 20 degrees. We are fine with a windcheater at times and there are no airconditioners in the rooms as it just doesn't get that hot ...

... the free pictures they posted online of us at the end of the day.  Despite a few moments of fear I was certainly all smiles! My next day in Dalat I managed to meet back up with Yasim and Max.  I had talked to my hostel owner about places to see and made a plan to go to the Elephant Waterfall and ride through the countryside filled with coffee and flower plantations.  About to rent a bike Max offered to drive me on the back of his and figured why not. ...
