We had a fantastic day Sunday; I watched the sun rise then we went out for breakfast to a part of Thira we didn't see on Saturday but that's not hard, the lane ways twist and turn and take you in all directions, discovering some very beautiful vistas. Breakfast was a ham & cheese omelette & latte for Jus and a mushroom omelette & Santorini Sunrise (strawberry & pineapple juice on ice) for me. We came home and changed into our togs and sat by the pool ...

We are lucky to have been dropped into the new port and we take the bus up the switchbacks. We are then taken to the Akrotiri site and then we go to the top of the highest point of ...

... that we being there meant a lot to them. When we mentioned that Maria suggested we go there, their happiness and pride were almost tangible.

For starters I had more feta and Mieke had Fava beans. Fava beans are only found on Santorini and is similar to chick peas. We had some of their house wine, which in the Greek Islands literally means the family made it themselves. The funniest part of the evening came when we wanted to order desserts. We asked ...
