We are constantly amazed at the changing landscapes and architecture that we are coming across. We ended back in town just in time for an omelette for lunch and time to change before negotiating the 600 steps down to the port. It really was negotiation as there were 4 cruise ships in port and tourists swelling the population by about 9000 extra people. Many of these ...

Amanda ordered the sea bass and I had the chicken roulade followed by a chocolate soufflé. It was very good. We returned to the room and relaxed for a bit before calling it a night. We have an early tour in Athens in the morning. Luckily, it's daylight savings time in Europe so we gain an hour ...

The capital of Santorini is Fira, not Thira as the island is called. It is the largest island of Archipelago of five islands which bears the same name. The population is 15,550 and the total area of the island is 90.623 km2... Today after breakfast walked into town, about a ten minute walk, had the best coffee! We decided to hire a car, so that over the next few days we could see all of the island, so we hired ...
