... day of driving today (Dan didn't realize how long) to Manchester, but we were able to see our last garden, Stourhead, less than an hour away. I hadn't heard of it or a lot of the gardens we visited until I read about them in the National Trust guidebook, but it is well known in England as a landscape garden designed around a large manmade lake in the 1700's.
