We stayed here for two nights while on a tour. The place being well located within walking distance to some main tourists attractions was pleasantly nice. The room was clean and the staff always helpful. As for the food, it was very good as well. Without being a five star hotel, we had a very nice stay here

It was really cheap to stay here with 3 people in a room. I was in Happy House first, and it was terrible, so this was a nice change. The staff was really helpful and the rooms nice and clean.

After the long coach journey crossing the Vietnam-Cambodia border, we had a little time to relax before going on a Cyclo (tricycle type thing) around a few of the sights in Phnom Penh. I felt a bit of a pratt but it was for a good cause, helping poor people from rural areas get work. I bought a bag of small fried frogs from a street stall in the …

Today was the mammoth journey from Vietnam into Cambodia and after stocking up on breakfast we got on the public bus that would take us across the boarder. It left out hotel at 7:30, stopped at the local bus station to pick up some more tourists and head out of Ho Chi Minh City. It took a while but eventually the mopeds and motorbikes started to …

So I make my way to reception & pay for my own room for tonight. Deluxe double & in delighted. Had a look at the Superior room & still wasn't good enough so for $45 I thought go for it. Today was such an eye opener. We visited the S21 Prison (Toul Sleng Prisio ) where Pol Pot led the Khmer Rouge & his they tortured the Cambodians 30 years ago. This …

Day 24 of Indochina Encompassed Tour

Michel and I waited in the hotel lobby for Kit and the rest of the group to show up for our evening dinner. Surprisingly, only three people did; the rest having decided to go their separate ways.

Like every other evening, this one was no exception. It was hot. We …

Spiders or no spiders, I was relieved to know that this restaurant served international food on top of that "spider delicacy"! From reading the menu, I knew exactly what I wanted to eat. Beyond any doubt, western fooooood!
