    ... back up the valley, truly a great end to our last day at Yosemite. And we saved the best for last, or so we thought, Dinner at the Hotel Charlotte.     ... a little warmer and the water looked tempting, until you walked in. At knee height your shin bone froze and you lost all sensation in your feet. When you finally got back to land and the blood tried to venture to your toes again it was like pouring scalding water on your feet. It looked so much fun when Nick did it that I felt compelled to give it a go. The next spot twenty minutes down the road was out of the fire zone and gave amazing views ...
