    We treated the Lopez family to a 3 night getaway to Angels Camp. It was fun hanging out with them. We swam a lot and went to historic Angels camp and walked around. Jalen slept in our closet upstairs and did well!

    ... came closer and closer to the 1,000 mark and the end of Yosemite National park.
    On the big day I woke up early and was in a good mood. I set out about 15 minutes before" Epic" the other thru hiker I had camped with that night. I strolled down the trail along the river and watch the sun rise upon the rocks. Below me on the trail surprisingly were 2 bears. One maybe only a year or 2 old with a golden brown coat shining in the sun. ...

    ... be seen again .... So sad .... :( :( :( .... (sad faces) all our photos over 1,000. We were both just devastated to say the least....... The only consolation was that every day we had been uploaded all the photos on the iPad that Deb had lent us, so we are very fortunate.

    And on a brighter note, I happened to have my phone with us ( even though it doesn't work over here) I use it for the time, lol, and so we tried to retrace our steps and take some more ...

    On our way out of the park we stopped at Camp Mather (Jill spotted some accommodation with "potential" if we visit again) for the promised treats.
