Corinth In June
I was quite tired when I arrived at Corinth on the afternoon of the 18th June, and it was good to see familiar faces at the hotel, a warm welcome and a favourite room overlooking the harbour and the mountains beyond.

By bus to Tolo, the slow scenic route
... Astros paralia by the sea. This is the more touristy place, and in the hot sun, was lovely. I knew I could not stay long, so wandered along the jetty and back, then chose one of the cafe-bars with a large seating area and comfortable cushioned chairs, to enjoy a coffee until it was time to move on.

Making the most of the old and the new.

Outside the partial city wall, we saw Grave Circle B, named for its enclosing wall, which contained ten cist graves in Middle Helladic style and four shaft graves, sunk more deeply, with interments resting in cists. Richer grave goods mark the burials as possibly regal.

We have arrived safely back at the hotel/resort and are enjoying a beer poolside. There are a hundred million stars out tonight and it is pretty special.
