... city. After an afternoon rest at the hotel, we went to the Ancient theatre of Epidaurus to watch a Greek comedy called The Frogs in Greek. The show is part of a annual theatrical and musical festival. Two tickets in the 10th row (center) costed $120. The 2 hour play was dramatic with nice set design, lighting and creative costumes. It appeared to be funny to the crowd and seemed worth the money because we were sitting in an open air stone-based stadium. ...

... museum on site that houses many of the finds from the excavation including pottery, weaponry, jewelry and some rare samples of Linear B writing (proto-Greek) on tablets. However they display only copies of the most valuable and fascinating gold treasures found on this site, the originals being safely tucked away at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens and which we had seen just a couple of days earlier.
