A sea nymph named Calypso spotted him from her cave, which peaked out from the top of a limestone cliff. Cos and I climbed from the beach to this cave, the so-called “Calypso Cave”. So, 2 and a half hour trip to Patras (by Express Bus which runs every 2 hours and costs 18,20 Euros) and then we board the ferry to Bari (15 hours). The kids are amazing travellers and have managed with their backpacks better than we could have every ...

I was quite tired when I arrived at Corinth on the afternoon of the 18th June, and it was good to see familiar faces at the hotel, a warm welcome and a favourite room overlooking the harbour and the mountains beyond.

I took my usual walk along by the harbour, all familiar now, and bright and sunny, where previously stormy. The only problem ...
