The overnight bus from Hoi An to Nha Trang was a once in a lifetime experience. Cheap but an uncomfortable 11 hour journey. It's a sleeping bus, so it has a kind of bed but it's not flat so needless to say we couldn't wait to get off!<br><br>The funny thing was when we were arriving into Nha Trang the amount of people up and exercising down by the beach and it was only 5.30am. ... took us to a local cafe before we were off to Ho Chi Minh City. <br><br>Boarding the plane we ended up sitting next to a Russia Lawyer who spoke no English -- Losha and she talked the whole way to Saigon - in only Russian! She recommended a place to stay for 20 bucks a night that was clean with super friendly staff and ....that's it for now, we are in Saigon and it is amazing and crowded and pretty wonderful. ... just more heated pools!! crazy! we enjoyed our afternoon there anyways nice to relax and take it handy!<br>we enjoyed some great food here too, and some great wine! a few of the restaurants waitors got to know us because we were eating in the same places all the time.. everything is so cheap it's fantastic! we stayed here nearly a week, heading to hoi an this evening on a very mental 12 hour bus journey!! nothing i can't handle after india! <br>To han oi we go!

... women to buy things.<br><br>31st August<br>Standard 6.30am start packed and left hotel before we got picked up for our boat trip around the islands. Our first stop was to the edge of an island to swim and snorkel for an hour which was really relaxing. Back on the boat we had feast of Vietnamese food for lunch before having a boy band concert performed by the guides on the boat which was hilarious, they dressed up in grass skirts, coconut bras and sang Vietnamese pop songs. ... POLE DANCE. She grabbed one of her guys friends and started using him as a pole to teach the girls. The go-go dancers got into it and started following along. I almost fell off my seat laughing. At a certain point the go-go dancers lost interest, but our rugby friend persisted in strutting her stuff and gyrating against anything that was on the dance floor. After we tired out on the dance floor, we called it a night and caught some sleep before our bus trip to Mui Ne. <br><br>
