Surprisingly tasty though! As our chef got back on his motorbike with a huge restaurant sign and ladder on the back I was amazed yet again by this country. Even though they had nothing she then went to give us all in turn a keyring and wanted no money for them. Of course we all paid anyway. It was heart wrenching. They had no money, a sick husband yet she was giving us her income (the key rings) as a thank you for the donation. As you can ...

... so we set down one of the side streets and found an empty cafe that offered cheap western breakfasts. It was empty and smelled funny but it was cheap and the coffee looked ok! We had some food then went for a walk to explore the area. It was different to Saigon in the way of busyness and mayhem but there was still the same street sellers, food carts and strange shops.

We had been told by the hotel that they had a space reserved on the ...
