... with a city wall, towers, gates, and all the cool toys medieval towns have. However, cobblestone streets were not one of the cool toys. Sidewalks, streets, everything resembling pavement was done in river rocks stood on their sides. One fall, and you were finished. I'm sure the horses before cars just loved this place.
