      ... Jean, having ordered me to shut up, was refusing to hand over any money to get out of her illegal alien status. At one point, she held out her wrists to the officials and said "I suppose you'd better cart me off to the slammer then". Ken was looking similarly stubborn and saying he'd rather leave the USA than pay that much.

      ... a few clouds in 25 days of sunny skies and lofty temps. Hopefully as we wend our separate ways North this weekend, the last of the snow will have vanished up north and we can break out the gardening tools and the Miata for the joys of spring in Niagara.
      When I'm old and infirm and not able to do this any more, somebody please remind me that I had a fabulous time, the best possible winter in 2015, while I was still able for it!

      Ends up we stayed a bit longer in Dunedin to hook up with some friends. These were the same folks who so graciously guided us down the Tombigbee when we first began our trip. After just missing them in Panama City, we discovered they were coming to Dunedin the day we has planned to leave. We decided we had better not miss our chance to get together this time because who knows when we would meet again? And so we stayed an extra three days. Lucky for all of us, the weather was warm ...

      ... restaurant for lunch and for yet another trip to Bealls. The substitute game Friday was Pirates Twins under cool overcast, so not exactly what I envisioned when I ordered the tickets. Live and learn, best to go day of and buy bleacher seats. Next year we will be wiser.
