A travel blog entry by emilyfrederick on Oct 09, 2014

I'm not sure what it is that compels me to travel, but "compels" seems to be the right word for it: something seemingly outside my very self drives, pushes, makes necessary. When I first went abroad, at the numerical age of twenty but the life experience age of far younger, I felt the urge to see new things, to experience everything this world has to offer. ... get us there, but after a bit of help from the GPS we found the little pub. We had a very nice dinner, which I know you would like me to describe. I am pretty sure I said this on the way out, but they should ban feckin' wheeled cases as carry-on luggage! *humbug* The Newcastle flight was full, and most of the overheads ...

    Rosslyn Kirk & York

We headed for Rosslyn this morning. It's a beautiful sunny morning and our spirits are high as we embark on yet another adventure!. Rosslyn Church is supposedly where the 'Holy Grail' and Templar Knights are buried. It's a beautiful old church. We had a look at the really old Kirk and listened to a fellow talking about the church. We then headed off for York. It's taken about 4 hours, we were hoping to find Yorkshire historic walls. Too tired to go looking - that'll be ...
