    ... would proceed to name his favorite authors: Hemingway, Steinbeck etc...If he thought of other writers, he would tell us on his way out. I suppose it would not be so bad to entertain a seemingly lonely guy but but he was so loud and often shirtless. That is not what you wanted to deal with in the morning. =)

The cigars were given to us from some people Ang recognised from Santorini that we had sat next to in a restaurant - she asked them if they had been in Santorini and they confirmed and asked how did she know? , so Ang said because they were smoking huge cigars and the pretty women with them - they laughed and insisted we share a cigar with them ...

    ... most of the sun, pool and beach but thought we needed to do at least something while we were here. On our last day we did a boat tour to a few spots around Ios. Like everything it was a party speed boat with music and tanning beds out the back. We went to a private beach, went snorkeling and had lunch, then cruised around on the boat and saw a group of huge tuna…over 1 metre in length! Our super hot boat driver said that he’s never seen anything like it ...

    ... but as we arrived we realized things didn't look so good for snorkeling. Not a human in sight, the beach was lovely but there weren't many good-looking sites for snorkeling (rocks). We decided to head west on a dirt road (and one which, to be honest, disappeared from our maps...).
