... When we got back to the port, the Costa Magica had pulled in next to us. What a difference! People everywhere!

A quiet day on board. I managed to insult a very rude woman who pushed in front of me then went on and on and on asking questions about Istanbul. I finally asked if it was ok to interrupt this woman who had pushed in front of me. The other highlight was sitting ...

The first time we were in Venice, in 1997, the day was perfect, sunny, not hot, not cold, thousands of shops displaying Carnival masks. It was a magical place and I always wanted to come back. ... lunch on board. Corfu was impressive from what we saw. Very lush and green with a gorgeous coastline - you have to leave something to come back and explore! Tonight's entertainment was really fantastic - "East Coast Boys" a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Season" - great to sing along to 4 guys singing with perfect harmony together with a live band. It is still raining a seas a little rougher - but it is meant to be fine in Athens ...

Day 46 - Corfu Greek Island

... and herbs for sale. I wanted to buy so much but I wasn't sure what I could bring back into Australia and I also can't fit anything else in my case. We then continued our scenic island tour, listened to more delightful Greek mythology stories and then finished back at the port. Today has been a slower pace and really relaxing. I have been feeling soar after yesterday's big day. I enjoyed this tour as there was no rush and it was easy to do.
      Once back on the ...
