Today has been amazing. The best day of the trip so far. Today we visited some amazing and perspective changing places. As an American I have not appreciated ancient history. For me I am in awe when I visit Mt. Vernon. I think its old, but that all changed today when I visited the ancient city of Ephesus. It was absolutely breathtaking. We first …

... to sail some and wind speeds of 20 knots allowed us to move along! There were several times with 20 knots, 1 1/2 ft swells and lots of white caps...can you believe I wasn't even scared? The hustle and bustle of tourists in the previous part of the market seemed to disappear and we found ourselves amongst the local ...

... the harbour and port and even St John's hidden inlet where he was said to have holed up for awhile. On our way back down the hill to the town we stop for some fizzy so we actually have the energy to make it back to the bus, we are amazed by the thousands of people lining up to get in to the acropolis. No wonder our tour guide was so stoked to be the first bus that arrived. Time for another nap on the bus as we head to Rhodes old town ...

Not only did we have beautiful scenery and a great time with friends and family, we also learned about sailing an 82ft boat. The Bonetkoning was built in 2005 and is completely computerized and state of the art. I had no idea you could put a boat like it on auto pilot and then change its course with a mouse. We had seen pictures of the boat online but in person it was even more beautiful and very ...
