... but a lot of them are holiday accommodation. There isn’t a lot of other colour, we saw geraniums at one place and quite a lot of multi-coloured bougainvillea around some houses but no trees and there’s hardly any room for a garden anyway unless it’s a little window box. We were so lucky with a blue sky day and deep blue sea, quite a haze though so we couldn’t see the ships clearly in the bay. We finally stopped for ...

Today is the day why we are all on this cruise. Doug and I wanted to return to Santorini and Yvonne has always wanted to go.....

It seemed a very seedy part of Athens, with graffiti absolutely EVERYWHERE! But eventually I found my hotel, which is really nice despite the seemingly dodgy location. And I can see the Acropolis from my room .... Very nice!

So after a quick freshen up, out I went to roam and get something to eat. Found a ...

... off and headed for the buffet. We were starved! It had been Avery long day beginning with tender ticket distribution and we headed to bed. Stephen and Carly kindly shared their cold with me so I wasn't feeling the best. I guess during the night, I continued my usual ritual of kicking Stephen out of bed and telling him to sleep on deck. I understand the ship personnel offered him a bed which he refused but did accept the hot chocolate! Poor fellow... I can be ruthless when I'm sleeping ...
