As I said our Greek Adventure was just beginning.

Waiting at the port in Naxos a bone chilling wind had developed and whilst we sat and sheltered attempting to avoid being frozen stiff we watched all the boats pitch and roll about the harbour.
Departure time came and went with no sign of our ferry which wasn't surprising but there no advice as to what was happening. Finding the office of the port police they advised that the ferry was delayed but had no idea for ...

Had a drink and the went through security - still need to get rid of liquids. They were very polite and asked to look in my bag as they sore my cough medicine - all good. We went to our gate and waited till about 15.40 ( when we were supposed to be flying out) quite a relaxed environment. We had to catch a bus as we only had ...

... about cruising the caldera today and visiting the volcano and thermal springs. I'm glad I didn't because a thunderstorm rolled in about the same time I would have been on the boat. It wasn't a storm like we have at home - just a couple of thunderclaps and some rain - but the view of the rain on the water was amazing.
I spent most of the day wandering the streets of Fira. I walked down to see the donkey station - the ...
