We were up early to catch the ferry back to Athens. We stored our bags at the Acropolis Hotel and headed out to breakfast which we ate at a sidewalk cafe. ... there. That evening, we let the let kids eat on the boat and watch a movie as the adults made our way into town by taxi. Our cab dropped us off behind the beautiful Atlantis hotel which was located at the entrance of Fira's pedestrian streets. The view from this part of town was breathtaking. ... eventful day, and we were not particularly in the mood for looking at more shops. I handled the cable car ride down a lot better than the one up, although I still held concerns about the ropes being tested by the overloading of the cable cars when compared to the weight each car is supposed to be carrying, but thankfully it all went off without a glitch and we were down in the harbour in no time, and caught the tender boat back to the ship where we had another swim and icy cold ...

... he was trying to say at first, but then with Christina's help we figured out that he was trying to warn us about the urchins. There were only a few, but we think they must be particularly bad ones, to have him warn us about them being bad for the hospital, so maybe they make people sick, instead of just sticking into their feet.
