    Friday 30th October

On the ship until 2.30 when we left by tender for the short service to Mykonos, one of Greece's most popular tourist islands. Here we wandered for an hour with Cindy & Mike before grabbing a well deserved beer in a cafe overlooking the famous windmills, formerly used to grind the island’s grain. The houses are all white washed pretty regularly & the streets, ...

I got down to the water and was taking in the view when I look to my right and see two people that look familiar, I ...

Island Hopping - Part 1 Mykonos

Travel days - I have less and less patience with using up good vacation time with getting from Point A to Point B but they are necessary. We took a whole day to get from Istanbul to Mykonos by way of a plane, a bus and a ferry. The plane ride was perfect and we arrived in Athens with our luggage, waited an hour for the bus and arrived in the very small port of Rafina half an hour later. That just left us with 5 hours to wait with nothing to see or do. ...
