... Thankfully it was as safe as houses; not a sign of aggression or dodgy behaviour in any of the youngsters. At about 0630 when the flies got too much, we picked up a toasted ham and cheese for breakfast and then wandered back to the port to wait for another 2 hours on a marble bench. Finally, the doors to the ferry port station opened and were able to get into the cool away from the sun.

It was only 1hr to Paros, during that time i read. When the ferry arrived i got off after collecting my bags and meet with people from the hotel who were providing a lift to the hotel. It was a short trip to the hotel, then i got my room, unpacked and went to bed.

I ate, then found a place for gelato, i then went back to the hotel and continued to watch movies for the rest of the night before going to bed. Not much done today, but that was the plan, just to relax.

... i first went to the industrial museum, but when i got there found that it was closed, so i went for a walk up the hills of the town, up the highest to a
church at the top. It had good views of the town and the surrounding water. The church was the church of the resurrection. It was a very hot day, so i had a quick look around then went back down the hill and down the stairs, seeing all these cats wandering around. At the bottom i went to ...

... stretching out along the cliffs framed by an Azure coloured sea. Too, too beautiful for words. We had decided to do our own thing in Mykonos so hurriedly gobbled some breakfast, gathered all we would need and dashed down to the port to get one of the first shuttle busses to the town of Mykonos. It was surreal racing along the narrow winding road in the bus. Each time another bus came the other way all the passengers ...
