      ... front was pretty with a grassy area and palm trees on the beach side and a large wetlands area with lakes and lagoons on the inland side. The lake had lots of birds, we could see pelican, smew, small brown ducks ,heron, storks, american coots and what we think was cormorants swimming under the water, fishing, it's incredible how long they can stay under the water for, we followed them with the binoculars for ages and they never seemed to surface.       Ed found a t-shirt shop that would apply whatever logo you like on a whatever shirt you like. He got a tasteful navy blue shirt and put a Beavis & Butthead Pirate on the shirt. See photo. Game of thrones was shot in Dubrovnik, so he was able to get a shirt with the symbol for all 4 clans on it.

      ... a short walk down the road. It was already quiet warm and it was going to get hotter today. I walked down to some shops, here i got some supplies – bottled water and more sun screen. I then walked back to the resort via the beach. Contiki had stopped offering water sports as optionals, instead they told you where you could do them – the beach across the road from the resort. I found the watersports area and checked on prices for various activities including para-sailing.

      ... on the coach and went back to the resort. Then it was up the hill to my room, i got changed, got ready for dinner and relaxed a bit. Then it was back downstairs to reception, where they had WiFi (bad). We meet up and it was back on the coach. We went to a large reception/ function hall where there were two other Contiki groups. One that was staying with us at the resort and one that was staying at a different place. This dinner was an optional. Dinner and Greek dancing. ...
