Despite being told by the guy at reception last night that there'd be no problem extending my stay it appears that there is no room at the inn. I should know by now that when someone says "it'll be fine, sort it in the morning" it should be code for "I can't be bothered with this ****, I'll make it someone else's probem." ... 30mins out of the city, where all the wines are created, hire some bicycles and pedal between vineyards sampling wines (yes there's something worrying about wine + bikes + Argentinian drivers on roads). Thanks to our Red Bus pass which we were given by some lovely Kiwis, we managed to arrive nice and early (10am) to be the first people to get out on a bike.
