... and Mareike and was great. We visited a large park and climbed the Cerro de la Gloria and looked over the city and at a fantastic statue. We sat with a beer for a while enjoying the view. We headed to the supermarket and ended up getting a bit carried away with the wine shopping, taking about 6 bottles back to the hostel with us – but at under a fiver a bottle for really decent Malbec was great value! ... I am not a fan of desert wine). I was then driven back to my hostel arriving back just before 5pm sleepy and quite tipsy and it was time for a siesta!!! It was an unbelievable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to the Mendoza area. Even though it should have been out of my price range it was well worth it and I'd repeat it in a heart beat. Today was pretty much a total write off after all the alcohol consumed yesterday at the wineries, BBQ and club.Steve managed to venture out about 5 for a Mc Donald's, Kerry stayed in bed all day until 6:30 when she had to get up and get ready, not out of choice!
