Parque San Martin and Cerro de Gloria

A travel blog entry by my.scuba.tank on Jul 28, 2014

Parque San Martin takes up a huge amount of space in the tourist map and I'm wondering if it's really that big. Maybe the city is small or maybe the map is not drawn to scale. We decided to take the bus there instead to save our energy for the walk within the park. Bus no. 5 just outside the hostel takes us straight to the park entrance. We boarded the bus and wanted to pay in cash but realise that the bus only accepts bus card that had to be ...

He took us for a tour around this winery, sobering us up for what was yet to come! We also learnt that there is very little damage to the vines from birds or other predators and that this area is perfect for wine-growing. The Andes in these background also make a great back ...

... to Chris to get patted down by some female stewards. They really didn't hold back- they were feeling underneath the wire of women's bras and everything! My turn came and the steward looked in my bag, she removed a tube of hand cream, alcohol gel, a lip balm and a small tube of sun cream. I asked her por que? Why? And she answered me in very fast, aggressive Argentinean Spanish which is much harder to understand than any of the other countries. She got pretty arsey and ...
