Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany marggraf... most of which are of Jager bottles. Since Jager is such a popular drink here and I've been seeing bottles laying on the streets like crazy, I've decided to start keeping a sort of photo diary of them. The jager photos that I'm posting are from only 3 days in the altstadt. Day 1: 2 photos, Day 2: 7 and Day 3: 8. Eventually I might create a photo gallery website for all of them because I have a feeling that it's going to become a quite large album....

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany cariverga... that we had not INTENDED to get on a high-speed train, Katie and I arrived in Munich where we met the rest of my friends and Cave-members, Brit, Pat and Jeff! Together we all headed down to my old stomping ground, Salzburg! In Salzburg, Katie and Pat were dragged from place to place as Jeff, Brit, and I reminisced about favorite bars, favorite walks, favorite doener stands. They even got to meet our old English teacher, Gundy, who invited us in ...
Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany jluetkehans... My family, Mexican food, Campgrounds, lakes, oceans and margaritas.

15.) Have you been on the autobahn? Yes, any freeway is called "the autobahn" Sometimes there are speedlimits and sometimes there aren't. People drive fast, it's not as thrilling as it sounds...really. The fastest I think any car has gone while I've been in it so far has been around 135 mph which is equal to around 220 km/hr.

Did I forget to answer anything?

Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany torilusk... guidebook. We passed heaps of tiny little German towns with houses that have black roofs and old crumbling castles up on the hillside. The ride was so nice that we figured we didn't need to take a boat ride as we had already seen it. We got a bit lost again on the way to the hostel (these German towns don't have visible street names!) but found it eventually. We had pasta and sauce with tomoatoes for dinner and I (gasp!) finished my plate before Stephen and ...
Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany steveandwhitney... We've been getting along really well but I can't help but laugh at her for being a bit motherly towards me. The kids and I have also been getting along although I'm not exactly looking forward to sitting in the car for them for 5 hours this weekend :-/ We're going to take them to Lego land in south Germany. I'm trying to pretend to be as excited as they are, but it's not Disney we're talking about here and it's cold, not ...
Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany torilusk... br> For those of you who know him, Jeff, my housemate of two years, spent a summer in Eastern Oregon researching birds. There he was assigned a room mate, Sarah Ingham, an adventurous Irish girl in the States for the summer. They had a wonderful time together, and I also got to spend some time with Sarah. This past week Jeff and I were both able to travel to Ireland to see Sarah's home town, Westport.
I've been to Ireland before, but only to Dublin, so I've ...

Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany doktor-albanDear friends, This is primarily a travellog to outline our, Regine and Peter's, honeymoon in Southeast Asia and the Far East. To do this properly it's worth starting with our wedding. We got married twice. That's how you do it in Germany: If you want a church wedding, which was very important to us, you need to have a civil (official) ceremony first. We had the latter on 6th August on Veste Otzberg, a lofty stronghold in the Odenwald region of Germany near Gross-Umstadt, Regine's ...
