      Despite the rain we arrived in Napa in time for lunch at The Bounty Hunter before heading over to our appointment at the new tasting room of Lewis Cellars. Their wine is amazing and we got a chance to meet the owner Randy Lewis, the former race car driver...such a nice guy! We had dinner at a great new restaurant call Torc, would highly recommend …

      Dinner conversation ran the gamut, highlighted by the revelation that Ginny had indeed tried marijuana but didn't inhale, and Mary's ribald stories and language had tears flowing.

We signed our waivers and the gate went up and we began our drive in to select a camp site - I'm not impressed - most of the camp sites were muddy and surrounded by shrubs (probably willow) and buggy - definitely not worth the $60.00/night fee (you're paying for access to the glacier).       After lunch, we boarded our bus and headed out to the first private garden, the hillside garden of Jana Olson. It's on the same street as the Berkeley Rose Garden.       Took a break today, after arriving home circa 1:30 a.m. Lazed around, ate some breakfast, lazed around some more, went to Casper's Hot Dogs for lunch.
