    We love staying at this hotel in downtown Napa. You can walk to so many wonderful restaurants.

    ... and then took a roundabout route downhill before joining up with the main trail. I liked the prospect of an unknown path, and Brendan had no objections, so we continued on up. Unaccustomed to intense hikes, I was pretty well exhausted by the time we reached Clark Point, and was happy to see the trail sloping downwards again on the other side of the scenic overlook.     It was raining in Bodega Bay but the town has lots of waterfront and might be worth exploring further on another trip.

    We used Google Maps to find our way to the 101, and we drove some interesting narrow secondary roads as a result.

    ... of the plane was the window (when we banked it was just the window between me and the ground). We didn't exactly see Glacier Bay but we saw the ice fields and several of the glaciers that enter Glacier Bay. The photos tell the tale and are as accurate as we could make them with respect to the named glaciers that we flew over.
