... longtemps à s'éliminer que l'oxygène. C'est pour cela que, même si l'on ne fait pas de plongée nécessitant des paliers (le type de plongée que je fais ne nécessite jamais de palier, c'est le principe des plongées récréatives de 90% des plongeurs de ce monde...), on fait tout de meme un "safety stop" à 5 mètres pendant 3 minutes, sans bouger, en respirant normalement, afin d'éliminer les bulles d'azote problématiques et d'éviter de remonter à la surface avec une bulle d'azote ...

... when we reached the first cliff. Yes, just the first. There was a series of three 15-20 foot vertical sections - but don't worry there was plenty of slippery rope with knots in it to support us.
