Nice hotel with big rooms, great pool. Only complaint meals and drinks took forever to come.

Walk to another local market and bought a pair of flip flops. Looked at replica handbags and sunglasses but didn't buy any. Then I spied a Muslim girl selling cheesecake and trifle so although it looked synthetic I really had to buy one. It was as it looked and nothing like my mother Margaret's special trifle. Leisurely start to the day - the usual breakfast feast ( diet starts the day I get home) then a massage on the beach. $10 for an hour - so relaxing, gentle sea breeze with the sound of the waves - bliss. Swim, lunch then set off at 4 for the birthday dinner. The Catch Beach Club is next to the beach- a lovely bay where I was hoping for a spectacular sunset - which ...

We stayed at Amata Hotel which, compared to all of our accommodation so far, was beautiful!! Massive room and bathroom, mini bar, free water, English TV channels, linen that actually fit the bed and didn't come off half way through the night leaving you to sleep on a dirty mattress. Heaven. On top of that it had a roof top pool and one by reception. Yup, I think I'm going to like it here.
