    ... and completed in 2007. At the end was an interesting little exhibition outlining how the Sekisho worked. Leading up to the Sekisho is a parade of magnificent Cedar trees, aged over four hundred years old. Before heading back to the warm and dry of our Inn, we visited an old Shinto Shrine with a floating red torii (gate) in Lake Ashi.

    8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

    The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
    However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

    Rock'n Roll!!!! found the coolest little coffee shop in Tsumago.

    Wasted no time going from the base of Fuji to our first onsen (hot spring baths). The minerals in the water are supposed to do good things for the skin.
