... to an awesome cafe called Masion de Chocolate. beautiful cakes and chocolates. Then went for a drink in Place d'Armes in town as it was sunny and lovely to be out, and, then bugger it, my wallet got nicked!! Must have left the top of my handbag open when we sat down at the cafe.

We said goodbye to Emilie today, it was sad. But one day we will be back! We got our croissants for breakfast again and a chat before we left on our journey. ... a drink at a cafe. By the time we finished, we were getting a bit chilled, so we looked for a restaurant where we could eat indoors. Nothing excited us, except possibly the Mexican restaurant, embarrassingly enough (it was very popular, by the way), so we returned to the hotel, shared a bottle of wine and nibbles in the bar. By the second glass of wine, we had solved Kyla's problem of what to write about the Haitian diaspora. Alcohol aids anthropological argument.
