... couple then rocked up and also asked us where to dig, so I invited them to simply dig an extension onto our pool (well, ours needed a bit of work at that end as the walls kept sagging and caving in)... Eventually there were six roasting bodies wallowing in the pool. It was a most relaxing way to pass the time – warm bath water, while watching the ocean not 20m away! ... dropped off our luggage in the dorm house and went for a
quick stroll into the small city center. Apparently, New Zealand is
known for its “Hokey-Pokey Honeysuckle” ice cream flavor, so we
indulged ourselves and enjoyed a scoop. It was so delectable!
