A freezing night in the "turtle truck" last night. There is no electricity at the camp site and we hadn't driven the "turtle truck" all day, so it was cold right through. We put the gas heater on for a short time but are too scared to use it as the fan uses the battery up and we don’t know how long it lasts and we don’t want a flat battery. It would have been a great idea if we had learnt more about RVing. I think we were in bed at 6:30 as it was warm there.

After another early wake up, we had breakfast and checked out of our hotel. Be boarded the bus and started our journey to Crow Creek Mine. Everyone was excited to actually pan for gold. ... No ice. Worse yet, we watched her seem to be disorganized and confused and never really got anything delivered. The cook finally brought out our food. And went back for the glasses of ice.
