People from the Upper Peninsular of Michigan are called Yoopers. We are on the southern tip of the UP in St Ignace.

As predicted the weather has turned sour and it has rained or drizzled for most of the day. We had planned a quiet day so that was good for us.

Breakfast in Paradise was danish pastries or donuts, coffee and juice. I opted for one of our apples and some sultanas (courtesy of Comfort Hotel Chicago).

... the guest of honor was a gentleman that writes a Champagne newsletter to which the owner subscribes and his family.
