Night 17: Whales Everywhere From Nehalem Bay to Beverly Beach Today we drove 120 miles all around the Central Oregon Coast, the mother of ocean vacationland. Weather was cool, but seasonable and pleasant, in the 50's and 60's with partly cloudy skies. It is worth noting there was no rain or fog, but there was wind. Oregon's coast is like Florida or YNP. ... Now on road to coast heading to Newport Oregon for some lunch. Seen signs for leaping deer and elk but no actual sightings of the real thing. Omg this car is so uncomfortable. It's like sitting on a park bench and my bum has gone numb.
Lots of trees & then some. Wanna see a bear. Bored with trees now.
Ok so we drive into Newport and I politely give directions to the historic beachfront but no! Chris wants to stop in some ****** makeshift car park. ...
