... abundance of blessings to LFTL ministry.

Got to spend this morning just hanging out with the guys, Bill and Ron, who took time out of their busy schedules and away from family to volunteer and travel and cook for us. Love hearing of life stories. The guys have already traveled on to Brookings while I will remain in Newport another night to share with the kids this evening at Central Coast AG about BGMC and ministry to kids in Romania.

What can I say? But, I guess the Irish Rovers said it best: Wasn't that a Party! Mom decided that the best way to end this month long vacation was with my birthday party. As I said last blog, I turn 4 on April 30th. I don't have a need for the big party celebration but it's nice to be remembered with all your favorite things AND a great special meal. ... the rain would cease, but it didn't, and the repairs to the roof had failed so we had our own mini waterfall in the shower compartment, plus another coming through the aeriel inlet (doubly annoying because we don't even have a television. So we found this great little site, tarped up and, whenever the rain stopped it's heavy drumming, Nigel climbed up and applied ever expanding layers of sealant.

... This rock isn't as big but it is great because at low tide you can walk out to it and explore the the tide pools. The rock's name is Haystack Rock and it has two smaller neighboring rocks called the Needles. You will see pics of both. ... they called this ocean 'pacific.')  Waves crashed in and splashed around violently. This area is well known to surfers. When we arrived the wind and the waves were furious. There is a small Mo's stand here offering a limited menu.
