... on the bus journey were super-steep and there was an air of relief that we were traversing them in a bus. With the rain worsening we opted for a night in a hotel, which turned out to be a great place and a class above the other motels so far. It seems that the cheap range of motels, inns and hotels all fit into the same price bracket but vary enormously in terms of quality. This one was a great find - thank you Wacoma ...

... excited about seeing the whale and talked about it all day!

Clare and Aimee had fun just hanging out at the campground riding bikes, going for a walk, and playing at the playground. Everyone is really enjoying our time in Oregon! We're leaving the coast for a few days and visiting Portland next. We look forward to finding out how "the big city" compares to the smaller coastal towns we've visited!
