Maldives - God's Masterpiece
... Our resort had a House Reef where we got to see turtles, a shipwreck and some more beautiful fish.
We saw whales on our sunset cruise! The massage at the spa was good – not amazing – but enjoyable. The service in the restaurant was excellent, and the food was great. Free wi-fi in the bar was a great value add!
All in all, Maldives is one for the bucket ...

Paradise in the Island
... you to the island's 3 main restaurants. One was an indoor/outdoor Thai restaurant. The outdoor area was on sand surrounded by forest and one side open to the sea. The waiter we were served to was a local Maldivian from a nearby island. He has lived part of his life in Sri Lanka and he knew Sinhalese. He was very friendly and provided us with excellent service and a good restaurant experience at the place where we had our romantic outdoor meal on the final night at the island. ...
Off to the Maldives
... arrivals hall. We immediately saw a representative of the Traders Hotel.
While waiting for the speed boat to take us from the airport to the capital city (the airport is on a separate island), we sat quietly, tired. It was, in fact, already past 11pm. The boat ride took about 5 minutes and the check-in at the hotel even less. Once we finally made it to our room (very nice), we took a speedy shower and fell soundly asleep in the comforts of a luxury hotel.
