... into the Indian Ocean. Fantastic. The Gili Lankanfushi is apples and oranges different from the Park Hyatt, which is a good thing! There are 45 rooms here, all overwater villas, and they're inspired by Robinson Crusoe....rustic and tree house like. In fact, they have a copy of the book in the room, which I started reading last night. The villas are huge...large bathroom, bedroom and living area, an upstairs deck and the aforementioned sun deck ...

... it was past sunset. What the hell, we went out in the ocean
anyway in the first light of the nearly new moon (tomorrow – Sri Lanka’s
temples will be heaving). The water was so warm you couldn’t tell which bits of
you were in the water.

We saw a jellyfish and a big moray eel, basking in the
shallow water. The surf was breaking way out on the edge of the big reef. Our
holiday is over, our honeymoon has started!
