      ... we had to eventually go back to reality and understand we were backpackers not honeymooners. We took a private taxi (pretty much the only way to get anywhere from Nusa Dua) up to the 'cultural centre' of the island to the town Ubud. We arrived in the boiling heat and due to a road closure had to walk to our hostel for about half a mile which in 35 degree heat and having to push your way past leisurely and cocky american backpackers while trying to find a cashpoint to pay for ...

      ... impressive and a small part of me wants to play, but I know I'm not at that level and im definitely not that flexible. We head back to our bungalow. The front desk told us the music on the beach would be done at midnight...liars. it's 12:30 and we are 30 feet from the bar and the music is blaring so loud our bungalow is shaking.       ... of sun loungers stacked up! We found it a little expensive but it made sense when you saw all the tourists so we had some good seafood on a waterfront restaurant - Clams and Ribs. We then decided that we would head back so we caught our first tuk-tuk to Phuket town which was a lot quieter!!

      ... the trip to Phuket is because it connects with our over night train to Chang Mai,back in Bangkok,without an 8hr layover in the airport,we would rather spend 8hrs by the pool than in an airport.So,I can see Phi Phi out the ferry window,so now the transfer on a make shift gang plank to the next ferry,could be interesting!
