I had registered online for less than ten dollars! For which I got a ride to and from the race, a tshirt, the race, snacks and drinks...and a lot of entertainment! We arrived to television crews and a comic con feel with people in costumes everywhere and a sea of fluorescent yellow race ...

... much talked about Emerald Cave. We went on a longboat with 18 other people and stopped a small island with no beach and snorkeled around for about 30 minutes. Next, we arrived to the Emerald Cave. There, we put on lifejackets and jumped in the deep green water. The guide told us to swim towards the giant rock/island that was in front of us and once at the entrance of the cave, form a line.
