Today was my first day in Cyprus. After a long day on the road, my last stop was Kantara Castle. It's first mentioned in the records for Ric*************heart around 1190. So, it's easily a millennium-old. You can climb from the shoreline in about 20 minutes going through few villages and the final one is also called Kantara.
