    ... system seems to revolve around having access to a car. Public transport is cheap but slow, and the distances you have to cover between destinations are big (hence why I'm still sat on this friggin bus). So tips... avoid Hollywood, don't avoid Santa Monica or Santa Barbara, public transport is dodgy at night, hire a car if you can afford it, ohh and head up to to Mulholland Avenue after sunset, or before sunrise if you're weird; you won't be disappointed!     ... I found a place for dinner, got food and a beer and downloaded and sorted pictures while eating and drinking. After dinner i went to the gate, then got on the plane and found that the middle seat was free – i was flying with V Australia. There was a bit of a delay as we left the gate and took off, but i relaxed, then watched x-men and transcendence, ate dinner and went to sleep.
