A day in Disneyland. It was great. The kids got some sleep and especially Julia loved everything. It was a full exhausting day. The stupid thing was that we forgot to charge the video camera, but luckily we made a lot of pictures...

All packed and ready, it seriously hasn't hit me yet. My flight leaves LAX at 11:20pm and i highly doubt I'll be able to sleep... nerves man. i hope there aren't too many suburban soccer moms out in Queensland. because I'm pretty much fed up with that **** ha ha. Hervey Bay, i am ready for my bicycle and part time job with lousy benefits but great scenery! WOOHOO!!!!!! let the adventures begin..... is Oz ready?

... out and Minnie and Mickey were in their houses for pictures. We then checked out Chip and Dales tree house and Goofy's bounce house. Not very exciting for us but Callie was thrilled. Carter liked the mice too. Kerry has been telling Callie all about the little roller coaster so the two of them decided to go on. Callie got scared but Kerry wasn't having any of that. Down ...
Anaheim, California, United States evanschwab... during the off season. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyl and/en_US/hotels/landing?name=GrandCali fornianHotelLandingPage&bhcp=1 The hotel actually backs onto the area known as downtown Disney which is where the main restaurant and shopping experience can had without entering the grounds of the park. First things first though sleep is required.
Anaheim, California, United States stiletto666... we took covered that! To cut a long story short they eventually sent someone out to us with the spare keys at not additional cost which we really appreciated. We were up early the next morning to get an early start in Disney's two parks, but didn't realise that it was a public holiday, so by the time we arrive there were already hundreds of people lined up to enter the park. Despite the long queues the park did have a very festive atmosphere and we still got ...
Anaheim, California, United States vine_hooligans... oh, no that's right, it's to stop them getting shot! Anyway, after being spoken at in Spanish we hurried back out to the car, locked the doors and scooted away. We then spent the rest of the day driving around downtown LA and Chinatown looking at the civic centre and wildlife, sorry, people of LA and trying to find somewhere to get some food. In the end we stumbled across a small Chinese takeaway owned by a friendly ...
Los Angeles, California, United States clairechris2008... on down towards Newport Beach where we took a diversion to Balboa Island. This was truly the most perfect place in California. A small island surrounded by harbour/marina, where the cute little houses all had their own piers and boats of varying sizes. Of course, only the super-wealthy live around here - made note to win lottery soon! The main through street was equally cute, with lots of quirky independent shops and ice-creameries. Parts of ...
Anaheim, California, United States loxias... weather. In the mid 30's most days it really is hot here and unless you are on the scooter or in the water it is too hot. I even start to long for my own kitchen, I hate to admit that I am getting tired of restaurants but I am. This week we have been trying a different restaurant every evening, with varying degrees of success. Today is our last day - but we do not leave until almost midnight and we will be flying to LA and then ...
Los Angeles, California, United States indianajill... and get new ones. Fortunately it was not a busy day and it was quick and easy. The staff at Singapore Air were helpful and friendly and told us that we could get better seats so they booked us into a block of four. Also water is very expensive in LAX. First, you are not allowed to take any into the secure area (no more than 100ml) ans second you have to pay at least $6.50 for two bottles of 700 ml after you have checked in. Ye Ha. More to follow on the flight.
Los Angeles, California, United States christinagary... giving parents. I find Gaz is much easier to get by with here, as you all know what troubles I have had being understood. I also saw some cops tearing down an unattended stall on Venice, and some old crazy guy with an American flag came and attacked their car with his flag. At first I thought it might be Sheephog again, but this guy had a beard like santa. It was pretty funny, especially the overly violent arrest (I'm kidding, they obviously knew the guy and told him to ...
Los Angeles, California, United States gazalache... over the park then all of a sudden it plummets to the ground... We walked around the park and went on a few things then went back to the Original Park for some night-time scenery and the parade. It gives it a total different feel being dark... After night rides we left the park and grabbed some ribs from Tony's then headed back to the hotel for some R & R in preparation for another full day!
