    ... spending the day with Minka at Alcatraz and wandering the streets of San Francisco in companionship. It was a good day. Alcatraz was well worth the visit, but nevertheless mildly disappointing. The highlight of the week for me was Napa Valley and Yountville, in particular.     ... Yet to find our own place by paddle or by walking, with risk and uncertainty, the outdoors never lost it’s magic.

    My final words would be… Sight-seeing can go to hell, give us adventure!
