... up the cute little beach town of Avila and went to Maria Callender’s for a Kahalua cream pipe. We also did a little more shopping at another outlet mall just to ensure we weren’t missing anything for our South American advantage. Jay was content as we did spend some time at sport stores buying a new tent for SA.

It was so lovely spending time with Sally and Kirra in the US, you guys were outstanding tour guides and the best bit was getting to cruise ...

There was a rumor about bed bugs, ...

Before the game we headed to a Mexican restaurant near the Centre where they made fresh guacamole in front of you at your table which was pretty cool, and delicious! Sufficiently stuffed with Mexican goodness we headed over the game. We got our 'number 1 fans' foam fingers and some Bud Light beers (our new fav) ...

    GOODBYE SAPPHIRE CALIFORNIA

... and before we walked away the guy who served us let us know that the café was only for people with three or more stripes, but that it was okay for us to have it this time. We rushed it all to a table outside the theatre to eat it all, and just as I was about to go inside to let Lily* know I grabbed her a cheesecake, everyone was cleared to head to the gangway. I ran back to the cheesecake I got for Lily* and took two huge bites out of it and then rushed off to grab my luggage ...
