... that just went up and up and up! Such incredible 360 view of Frankfurt though- totally worth it and great photos! We went inside the Cathedral itself too which was beautiful and were able to light candles together :) Beate took us out for hot drinks and then as it gets dark quite early here we took the train home again. We'd had such a big lunch we had a light dinner and tried German pretzels!!! Such a treat! Today we both woke up very early so clearly the ...

Wow where to start... So I haven't blogged since the second leg of our flight. I found the second flight a lot better. Even though it was 12.5 hours long and I was unable to get much sleep, I didn't feel I needed to as it was light outside. I managed to watch a few movies and a whole series which was great. We also played a few games which where actually too hard so that didn't last long haha. We got three meals which ...

Highlights for me were Gornergrat, Sion, Mt Pilatus, the Rhine boat trip , Eiffel Tower, the Pont Du Gard, old town of Uzes, ...

This was a bit different and a bit unsettling. Jas managed to scrounge up some change in the local currency that we got from a friend and we continued on.

We then saw many memorials, statues to important Albanians, and walked down the pedestrian streets. Unfortunately as it ...

Departure from the Netherlands was without fanfare and arrival into the German republic even less so. We spotted a sign saying our border crossing would be in one km so Lisa had her camera poised but no German sign. What we noticed were the roads were less well built, the cars a lot larger and no speed limit. And holy Krupp, they went flying by us in the outside lane. Germany also has lots of green Forrest's along side the motorways/ atuo Bahn. The truck stops are large ...
