... are out by the thousands, eating, drinking, smoking and connecting with their neighbors. Such a vital time at night. But with our long day we decided to just go out from 7:30 - 10:30pm then head back to our hotel and into bed. Chris' pedometer marked we walked 11 kilometers today. And now my feet feel like it. So happy to be here. Special thanks to Cliff and Sandy who gave a condensed version of Rome....as we are going to Florence ...
... places in Iceland (heavily dominated by discussions and pictures of food prepared in different hotels / restaurants). But they gave us some good ideas for the trip in November to Iceland on the way home. There were also 49 different movies to choose from, which we all took some advantage of.
We flew over some nice views of Greenland landed in Reykjavik on time. The fields were filled with blooms of purple lupine near the airport. But we only had 45 minutes ...
... the night alone in Frankfurt.Well I didn't and to top it off the chicken sandwich ranked equally with the excursion lunch sandwiches. Faith can move mountains: turns out it can also move aeroplanes. My mate next to me, who's name I never knew, was on a connection that was in the same section and at the same time so together we examined the map and got our bearings for an airport we didn't know.
... of town. The sales are on but there are people everywhere so after an hour or so we settle into a small Japanese restaurant for dinner.
Tomorrow we board our flight for Ho Chi Minh City and then though to Sydney. This is our final blog entry for our holiday, I hope you have enjoyed reading about our holiday and we look forward to catching up with you all on our return.
