... in the wind- how crazy is that?! Then we took another lift up to the 86th floor to the observation deck, which is in one of the towers. You can see the other tower from here but the bridge is too far below to see. The views were even more spectacular up here and the other skyscrapers looked small in comparison. The view from the Burj Khalifa is still supreme- think it was the 123rd floor we went to there. Amazing! After our tour we hung out in the mall, it was nice ...

... nearby huuuuge shopping complex were a tonic for the deprived Hanoi resident! I'm never going to buy anything in Gucci, Prada, Mulberry and even The Harrods store, but it is just nice to have a western shopping experience from time to time. Then a short walk back to the hotel with a beautiful rooftop pool and glorious sunshine were a good way to wait for the evening flight back to Hanoi. ... of the orchid park, within the Lake Gardens Park. We seemed to have reached an unspoken agreement that we just had to endure this, then we could throw ourselves into a taxi, return to our hostel and shower for the next 3 hours.
