... that we would not have made it during that time period! After the torture museum, we went to the Temple of Valenciana, which was a small church filled with history and ornate decor. We finished our afternoon by joining the family we met for dinner, family style. It was a wonderful day! The people we have met throughout our trip so far have really added to our experiences here in Mexico. Everyone has been so kind and helpful, some even trying to take care of us. We have been very ...

I've seen the cave and surrounding scenery and I've experienced the crowd so I can imagine them together. Quite honestly, I feel like it would be super dangerous with that many people up there. ... we found ourselves on the famed steep steps with the universal language of dance—Pitbull—blaring through the speakers. An impromptu dance off on the University steps, I finally felt like I was traveling.

We soaked it in for hours, finally perching ourselves on a terrace overlooking the square, enjoying a couple bottles of wine to finish off our day.

The next day Mario told us he’d be taking us on one of his favorite hikes from when he was ...

... who isn’t a part of my host family or my dance group. I have to say, it was a good experience. Anyway, after that, I stopped and bought a couple of shawls for gifts and some toys that fly in the air. They are like little airplanes that you shoot up in the air and cascade down to the ground. Then, I took a taxi home.

When I got home, there were a ton of people in the living room. Bugui, Aura, Allie, Flora, Adriana (Magda’s sister), and her son ...
