      ... had mass. The first two we went two had baptisms instead. So, in the extra half hour we had to wait, we went to buy more chicken, from the same place as before, and then just took it to church with us. :)

      ... strawberry milk. Now, I'm not talking Nesquik strawberry milk, but liquified strawberries thinned out with milk. Delicious! After dinner, I went straight to my bedroom to do a little typing and email answering before going to bed at 11.

      After one day here, I can confidently say I can make my way to school and back. It only involves 2 or 3 streets, depending on how I go. Now that I have the important place down, I've got to work on the rest of the city!

      ... Must be a guy, I thought, judging from the messy state of his bed. LOL! Turns out he was the Swedish cyclist, Andreas, whom we'd met before in Zacatecas. Small world! A few days later again I happened to be at reception at check-out when I crossed paths with a Mexican guy I'd met in Zacatecas two weeks before. Yes, I do talk to many randoms!

      ... So finally I suggested to one of them that we go up to Pipila, this big statue on the hillside above town, instead of having any more classes. We went, up stairs, stairs, stairs, and I was totally winded! My teacher even smokes and he had no issue - he just said that after a few years in Guanajuato, you get used to it! It was a great view from the top over all of Guanajuato.
