        ... and religion.

        The canals are a little bit of Venice with a Dutch twist, saw the equivalent of a stretched limo, but it was a boat, how it navigated around was just amazing!

        Well I did say you could almost buy anything. Saw Girl Scout Cookies, not your traditional recipe!

        Bikes they just love them, I am sure that there are more bikes ...

        I got to Tashas hostel at about 1030 and shiv, Tasha and myself went to the Heineken museum to do the Heineken experience. I was pretty excited because I had heard good things. We got there and stared to walk through; got a history talk about how Heineken started, saw where it is made, tasted the ingredients and then we finally got to go into a simulator.         It is also true, by the way, that it is a town of cyclists (though that doesn’t stop it from also having a lot of car traffic).         ... and built a causeway to the mainland. Now it is just a pretty little village with some interesting houses and a cute little museum with a display of local costumes.

        Back to Amsterdam by return bus and a walk home from near the Central Station.         ... to the boat for lunch. After lunch we went to Zaanse Schans to view the countryside, windmills, clog making and cheese factory. It was amazing to see the windmills in action and as we had a windy day, there was plenty to see. Each of the wheels in the photos weighed 3 ton each and the twos upstairs weighed 2 ton each.
