... city! I thought the city was much bigger than this, but there were no people out. It's a university city, so that surprised me. Maybe it was early to eat at 7? or late? But we didn't see anyone at the restaurants or bars.

We ate at a Serbian place that was decorated with antiques but was mostly empty. We saw seafood on the menu for the first time in awhile and got a squid salad that was "meh." ...

Today was our last full day in Pecs. Tomorrow Dee and I will catch the train to Budapest where we will have one more day before our departure to Calgary and home. Pécs is a colourful historic town near Hungary's southern border filled with art, museums, decorative tile and Roman Ruins. Pécs has one of the two largest Universities in Hungary, rivalling Budapest. With 30,000 students, Pecs has a youthful feel.
