Had to head out to the cashpoint which took about 2 hours with Rosa tagging along. We chilled for most of the day on the beach an in cafés before we saw our first Keralan sunset. Ate at our man's restaurant, Sea Queen. We both had tiger prawns cooked in lemon, chilli, butter and garlic. Delicious. Started on the cocktails from the menu but then deviated to making our own. ... and smell turned our stomachs. We travelled through many small towns each had butcher shops where meat hung in the open hot air and chickens in cages. We arrived at the yoga centre where we checked in and where we had to sign up to a minimum 3 night stay - a two bed room without a/c and a private bathroom and meals all for £60.
