    Today we started in Haarlem with a ride to the IJmuider St. De Havenmuseum. They are normally closed on Friday's but they opened just for us.     ... Corrie Ten Boom was a lady who helped hide some of the Jews during Hitlers rule. It was a fascinating story and tour through her house. We got to see the hidding place, a small room about 50cm deep by 2 metre long which held up to 6 people. Someone told the Nazis about the work Corrie was doing and imprisioned her and her sister in Ravensbrück concentration camp. Corrie was then released sometime later. It was a powerful story.We then got back on the train ...

    ... hotel, the Movenpick was in a good location overlooking the port and railway yards, much to Wayne's delight. No wonder he loves this place. Satisfaction on so many levels achieved! He spent a great deal of time watching trains come and go . We saw a couple of cruise ships enter and leave the dock and it really is a city that never sleeps.
